| This photo was taken in Ann Arbor Michigan at Bird Hills Park in October 2003, the last autumn season we spent in Michigan. The black and white tones of the photo remind me of the beautiful contrast that fall revealed more than a color photo could capture. This park was one of my favorites in the area because the ground was relatively clear of vegetation and the hills rose and fell near the Huron River. This photo allows views of the maples with their trunks silhouetting against brilliant, almost glowing, leaves. |
