| This is another image from one of my favorite trails in the Seattle area, the trail up to Lake Serene. This photo is a shot of one of the lower falls and was taken July 24, 2005. I love the light that the rocks catch on this trail. Often they are very shiny and on brighter, cloudy days, they can really glow. This image is about 10 feet from another image that I think came out pretty well, "Fallen Trees at Serene." The two could almost sit side by side. If you are familiar with the trail, you will probably know exactly this area. On hot days, it is very tempting to get close to the spray from this set of smaller and accessible falls. |
